One day, during one of my drawing workshops, a young girl asked me how to draw a mec? And strangely, I was inspired: "Draw an ugly girl.... That'll make a handsome guy!"
And it's true! In many shoûjo manga, a guy is a girl with a slightly squarer jaw, thicker eyebrows, a more pronounced nose... and whoosh! We've got a handsome romantic manga guy!
I don't know if it suits me, but in any case, it's a direction worth exploring.
